Colin McLelland MSC MCSP SRP

Colin started working at Meridian early in 2003 and came into the company as both a Chartered Physiotherapist and a Sports Scientist. Having previously played professional rugby, he is well able to relate to athletes who strive to succeed in their preferred sporting disciplines, but also know of the frustrations when out injured (one of the reasons why his rugby career fell short!). The facilities at Meridian allow him to treat, rehabilitate and test (using a number of fitness based techniques), resulting in many athletes returning to their sports with a greater understanding of their bodies in general. It also allows Colin the chance of utilising his diverse skills, and knowing the satisfaction when performances improve. With this in mind, he believes Meridian offers athletes the kind of professionalism and understanding that many practices fail to deliver, (and is therefore proud to work for such an athlete focussed company.)

Andrew Wilkinson BSc (Hons)

Andy has a great commitment to sport, and currently competes in the 400 metres for Sale Harriers A.C . He hopes to represent the Great Britain team next season in the 4x400 relay. This commitment requires Andrew to train seven days a week and gives him a great knowledge of the demands placed upon athletes wanting to compete at the highest level.
