Mark Wedge BSc (Hons) App. Sports Science, MSc Physiotherapy
Mark continues the Meridian tradition embodied in our mission statement of having clinicians with a strong background in sport and exercise. His undergraduate degree in Applied Sports Science sparked his interest in pursuing the role of exercise in rehabilitation, which led him to doing his Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
This sports science background provided him with an expanded skills base, which he had been able to apply for the benefit of all his patients, particularly those who are physically active. His personal sporting background includes both individual and team sports, giving him an empathy with almost everyone we see at Meridian. We accept, though do not pretend to understand, his lifelong support of Wolverhampton Wanderers, as he was born and raised in the Midlands! And he is a mean guitarist to boot! |
